Creating a nutritious menu that 100 children age 10 months – 10 years old is challenging! Food items must be easy for these age groups to eat as well as fairly easy to prepare for so many little ones. Our cook works full-time daily and prepares two snacks and hot lunches for our children. We have four weekly menus that we rotate each month. This enables us to be on top of the food substitutions we need to make for those with food allergies and allows us to easily plan ahead. We encourage the children to taste everything we serve and limit the amount they can have of the of the food items.
